Sometimes, it is important to connect the routers to cloud in GNS3, especially when you plan to perform lab exercises on a Laptop that is not connected to a network. There is a solution that allows you to connect GNS3 routers to your local system using the loopback adapter. For this, first of all, you need to install a loopback adapter on your local system. Let’s see how to install the loopback adapter on your local system.
- Open the Device Manager. To do so, type devmgmt.msc in the Run dialog box, and then press Enter.
- In the Device Manager window, select and right-click your computer name and then select Add legacy hardware as shown in the following figure.
